Recently, Jaguar Wave, a subsidiary of TINNO Group, completed the establishment of a wireless network video surveillance system in Taoyuan
Village, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. This is the first community in Shenzhen to utilize millimeter-wave wireless transmission equipment for
monitoring wireless networking.
Taoyuan Village is a large residential area in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, consisting of 105 residential buildings. In order to create a safer
and more convenient living environment, the community plans to install a surveillance system. However, traditional wired monitoring
solutions face many challenges such as complex wiring, difficult maintenance, and aesthetic impact. Especially in such a large-scale community, it is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and costly.
In comparison, the millimeter-wave networking solution has clear advantages.
Simply put, millimeter waves are like the "sprinters" of radio waves. They are not only fast but also have a large bandwidth, capable of
easily handling large amounts of data such as high-definition videos. Compared to traditional network spectrums, millimeter waves have
higher frequencies and a cleaner transmission environment, avoiding interference from other wireless signals and ensuring stable
transmission of surveillance videos and information security.
If a traditional wired surveillance system were to be used, a large amount of cables would need to be laid. However, Jaguar Wave's
millimeter wave devices can achieve seamless connections between the 105 buildings through wireless transmission, greatly reducing
the need for network wiring and maintaining the community's aesthetic appeal and cleanliness. The flexibility of the millimeter-wave
networking solution also means that future upgrades and expansions will be more convenient, meeting the community's evolving security needs. Additionally, the compact and lightweight nature of millimeter wave equipment makes installation more convenient. The
installation across the entire community requires only two engineers and takes one month to complete, saving several times the manpower and time compared to traditional wired installations.
