TINNO Secures New POS Orders and Introduces "Tap-on-Screen" NFC for Faster Checkout

Shenzhen, China – TINNO is expanding its smart point-of-sale (POS) business with a series of new project wins, driven by      rising global demand. This momentum follows the successful co-development and launch of two products with a leading      industry partner. Alongside these new orders, TINNO is addressing a common checkout frustration with its latest innovation: an Under-Screen NFC system that allows customers to tap directly on the display to pay.

"Tap the Screen to Pay": Simplifying the Checkout Experience
In traditional POS devices, the contactless payment reader is often a separate, hard-to-find pad, leading to awkward              fumbling during checkout. TINNO's new solution integrates the NFC antenna directly beneath the touchscreen. Users           simply tap their card or phone on a clearly marked area of the display for an instant "one-and-done" payment.

This innovation does more than speed up transactions—it enables a cleaner, more unified, and slimmer device design. It      overcomes a key engineering challenge of minimizing signal interference between the NFC antenna and the touchscreen      through precise design and material selection, ensuring reliable, financial-grade performance.

A Smart POS Portfolio for Every Business Need
The new tap-on-screen model is a key part of TINNO's co-developed product portfolio, which is tailored to three major        commercial scenarios:

  • Mobile & On-the-Go: Lightweight and connected devices for delivery services, pop-up markets, and mobile vendors.

  • High-Efficiency Storefront: All-in-one terminals with large displays and fast printers for busy retail and restaurant            counters.

  • Rugged Vertical Solutions: Durable devices with physical keyboards and extended battery for demanding environments  like logistics and field service.

Every product is built to meet strict global security standards, including PCI PTS 6.x (for physical device security) and           EMV L1 & L2 (for card transaction security), with hardware-level protections ensuring transaction integrity.

Reliable Delivery and Engineering Build Lasting Trust
The consistent flow of new orders is a direct result of TINNO's proven track record in reliable delivery and engineering          execution. TINNO’s dedicated teams work in lockstep with clients from concept to market launch, ensuring projects meet     critical timelines. This capability is supported by a specialized development framework for secure devices, ensuring:

  • Comprehensive Security: From tamper-resistant hardware to encrypted data handling.

  • Universal Payment Support: Full compatibility with chip cards, tap-to-pay, and QR code payments.

  • Optimized Performance: A stable, streamlined operating system for consistent day-to-day operation and easy                maintenance.
